Strong and very fruity aroma, clearly invoking the grape variety, excellent barrel-aged aromas, with pleasant roasted notes. On the palate it is full-bodied and smooth, appreciating ripe fruit (blackberries and cherries) with a pinch of vanilla, coconut, mint and bay. Pair with red meats, casseroles, all types of game and strong flavoured cheeses.
