Description

The Jack series includes a Riesling, Washington Red Blend and a Cabernet Sauvignon. The Jack wines are designed to offer great taste at reasonable pricing.
The Jack Cabernet Sauvignon has 18% Merlot and 4% Cabernet Franc added to the 2010 blend. It is from several vineyards, all within the Columbia Valley AVA: Pepper Bridge Vineyard, Stillwater Creek Vineyard, Bacchus Vineyard, Seven Hills Vineyard, Mirage Vineyard. It was fermented in small open top stainless steel tanks; the cap was punched down three times per day by hand. The wine was transferred to American oak barrels to complete secondary fermentation.
This wine won a GOLD - Best in Category Medal at the 2012 Seattle Wine Awards.

Eyes

A bright, ruby red colour

Nose

Classic aromas of mint, black cherry, cassis and barrel spice are present in spades.

Mouth

A wonderful, full mouthfeel to this wine, with delicious flavors of coffee, plum, cassis and hints of red and black cherries. The tannins, oak and alcohol are all perfectly balanced and make this a very approachable wine with a long, smooth finish.
