Ariddu is the synonym and local name for Grillo. The variety is a slow ripener and in this territory is characterized by low temperatures (especially noted in evenings) and higher altitude, which naturally preserves acidity, texture and structure. The nose has some dried grass and herbs, pear and a slight rustic component. This wine has great concentration on the palate with pure fruit – citrus, pear and a subtle savoury/salty element.
