FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

General

You can sign up for monthly shipments by going to the Subscriptions page. Here you can choose between 5 monthly and 4 quarterly packages based on your preference.

You can purchase a gift on our Gifts page. It can be shipped directly to their home or business or made available for pick-up at Marquis Wine Cellars. Account information such as the name, address (for Delivery), phone number, and email of the recipient must be provided. Gifts will be on-going until you choose to cancel; Alternatively, you can contact us directly at wineclub@marquis-wines.com with a Gift end date.

Your wine order includes your selected wine package and tasting notes. Members also receive exclusive benefits, offers and discounts to local events and tastings. 

  • You can cancel your membership at any time without penalty. Simply login to your account before the end of the month to make the change for the next subscription period.
  • You can suspend your membership for up to 12 months at any time without additional fees. Send an email to wineclub@marquis-wines.com prior to the end of the month to make the change for the next subscription period. 

There are no membership fees! You can sign up, pause, and cancel a membership at no cost.

Quarterly subscriptions are shipped out or available for pick-up in March, June, September, and December.

To change your monthly or quarterly package, log in and navigate to Club Memberships. There you can change your subscription plan, cancel, pause, or switch between delivery and pick-up.

Shipping

Yes! We offer timely and affordable delivery throughout BC with Canada Post.

Package pick-up is available at Marquis Wine Cellars at 1034 Davie St, Vancouver, BC.

Shipments are sent around the 15th of each month and are usually received within two to five days. We will email you as soon as they are sent out.

  • Monthly bundle package orders must be placed by 11:59:59pm on the last day of the month to receive shipment starting the following mid-month.
  • We will communicate with you via email and provide a tracking number once your package has been collected by Canada Post.
  • The packages are recurring monthly subscriptions. If you are going to be away, you can delay shipping of your monthly order by going to your account, navigating to Club Memberships or by contacting us prior to the cut off for that month’s order.

To track your Canada Post delivery, log on to your account to find your Tracking Number.

  • Yes, someone 19 years of age and older needs to be home to sign for the package due to provincial laws. We suggest you choose a delivery address where your package can be received during business hours Monday to Friday to avoid missed delivery.
  • If you are not home to sign for your package, a door tag will be left with instructions.

Quarterly subscriptions are shipped out or available for pick-up in March, June, September, and December.

Billing

Your credit card will be automatically charged on the last day of each month for the next subscription period. As an example, you would be billed on March 31st for the order shipped to you in April. Quarterly subscriptions will be charged on the last day of February, May, August, and November for the next month’s package.

No, you can cancel your membership at any time, free of cost. You can also pause your monthly subscription at anytime. (Provided you do so before the cut off date).

Shipping costs are additional to the bundle package price. There is free shipping for Orders and Subscriptions over $249.99 before taxes and fees. You can also choose to pick up at our convenient location at Marquis Wine Cellars located at 1034 Davie St., Vancouver, BC.

Returns
  • Damaged product: While our packaging provides a safe nest for your wine, occasionally bottles do get broken in transit. Should your order arrive damaged, please send us a photo of the broken bottle within 7 days of receiving your order to wineclub@marquis-wines.com and we will gladly replace them.
  • Corked bottle: Should you need to return a bottle to us due to the wine being off or corked, contact us  and we will provide details as to how you can return the at least ¾ full bottle to us for a refund.
  • Dislike a bottle: We recognize that trying a new and unfamiliar wine can sometimes be challenging for your palate. Our wines have been chosen for their unique and interesting qualities and we ask you to keep an open mind when trying them to allow yourself the opportunity to introduce new experiences into your wine journey. 
  • All sales are final once you have selected and paid for your wine order and cannot be cancelled or refunded. Should you need to make changes to your subscription, the deadline is before the last day of the month for the next month’s order.
  • If you want to cancel your membership, log into your account and navigate to Club Memberships.
